Smarter Homes Australia completed an urgent security upgrade after receiving a referral from a Brisbane-based Social Service Organisation.

The installation included two wireless cameras, a smart lock, and a deadbolt. The client had an existing DVO in place and the person using violence had been charged with a breach prior. 6 months after the installation the person using violence came to the client’s residence and damaged property. This was captured on the installed cameras, which the client provided to the police. The person using violence is now being charged with another breach and police have applied to increase the conditions to the DVO. The client said she is relieved the footage was captured, as it resulted in police increasing the conditions on her DVO, which she was in the process of applying for privately.
