The most popualr include Google Home assistant, Apple HomeKit and Amazon Alexa which integrate your smart home products to a centrally controlled app, allowing you to access them from any connected device securely.

Absolutely, all of our installs come with an installation warranty of 3 years. All products come with a manufacturer warranty depending on the manufacturer. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions!

CCTV Security Camera FAQs

Not at all. There aren’t any subscription or ongoing fees with any of our product offerings. We believe that once you have gone through us for installation, there should be nothing more to pay.

Yes, all of our Smart CCTV systems will notify you of any movement through the application on your phone. The cameras all have in-built AI technology to specifically detect humans, so you’re only getting the important notifications and not when a tree blows in the wind or an animal walks past.

Yes, all cameras come with infrared night vision so you can see what’s happening day and night!

Great question, the key difference between the two systems is that the wired will record 24/7 and will not need to be charged. The wireless cameras record based on motion detection. Our smart wired systems are also commercial-grade cameras so you can expect exceptional quality and longevity out of the system for your home or business.

Our standard cameras are 8MP which offer 4K crystal-clear resolution allowing you to identify license plates, facial features or anything within the frame!

Absolutely, our upgraded cameras have the added functionality of flashing lights and an in-built alarm which can be set to a voice command such as ‘get off my property’ or ‘you are under surveillance’.

Wireless Security Camera FAQs

Not at all. There aren’t any subscription or ongoing fees with any of our product offerings. We believe that once you have gone through us for installation, there should be nothing more to pay.

The Smart Wireless Cameras lasts for 3 to 4 months without needing a charge. The system can simply be charged by either taking the cameras down from the customised bracket or running the cable we provide for you directly to the camera.  If you decide to go with the continuous charge solar panels, as long as we are getting ample sun on the panel there should be no need for a charge at all.

For you to get the most out of your Wireless Camera system, we will need to have a decent connection to WiFi, this will be fine for 99% of homes with the internet. If you are noticing your WiFi signal isn’t the best in some locations, we can always look at boosters or extenders to improve this for you.

If your internet goes down the cameras will no longer record, however, a key thing to remember is often your WiFi signal has only slowed down as opposed to being turned off completely. In this situation, the cameras will still work without any issues, there may just be a delay in recording.

Absolutely, you can arm, disarm and even change the schedule of the alarm system built into the cameras from anywhere in the world. This can be great if you’re going away or you want to keep your home safe during working hours. The alarm itself will siren directly from the cameras and internally via the homebase as well.  The cameras even include a powerful spotlight!

Yes, you will receive notifications straight to your phone of any human movement. The cameras themselves have in-built AI technology to detect humans specifically so you aren’t constantly being notified of pets or if trees blow in the wind.

Smart Lock & Digital Door Lock FAQs

Not at all. There aren’t any subscription or ongoing fees with any of our product offerings. We believe that once you have gone through us for installation, there should be nothing more to pay.

Not a worry, the smart deadbolt will still function even if the power is out. The deadbolt runs on batteries and will continue operating, even through a blackout.

Even if the internet is down, you can still use your smart deadbolt as normal. The only thing you won’t be able to access is the app remotely as this requires an internet connection.

The Smart Deadbolt is compatible with any standard timber door, it won’t suit double doors or sliding doors. If you would like to send through a photo of your door we can happily provide a recommendation for you, it may just be a slightly different product.

Keyless entry can be achieved by using either a smart deadbolt or smart handle on your door. Smart deadbolts are our preference as it allows you to keep your current handle and utilise additional security with a deadbolt. If the door is not compatible for a deadbolt we can then provide a smart handle which has the same functionality, minus the deadbolt. 

You can set up to 100 unique codes for yourself, your friends and family. You are also able to remove codes and set them on specific timers if you have special deliveries or tradespeople working on your home.  Depending on the code that is used, the application will also notify you as to who has accessed your lock.

Video Camera Doorbell FAQs

The 2K Video Doorbell gets around 6-12 months on a single charge depending on usage. It can easily be charged with a cable we provide for you and you will receive plenty of notifications if the batteries get low.

If your internet is down the doorbell will function as a standard doorbell which will chime inside your home. The doorbell won’t have access to the application though so you won’t be able to answer the door remotely.

The doorbell is installed on a strong bracket at your front door or gate making it extremely difficult for it to be moved. We have installed hundreds of doorbells to date and not a single one has been stolen, taken down, or vandalised as they are as strong as most intercom units.

Yes! The Video Doorbell doubles as a camera and records any movement of people walking past as well as anyone that rings the doorbell itself. You will also be notified of movement which can be helpful, especially at night.

Yes, we can install the wireless doorbell at any location you prefer, as long as there is WiFi signal.

Smart Garage & Gate Opener FAQs

Yes, our upgrade is compatible with over 1200 system and we haven’t seen one to date that we can’t upgrade. Feel free to send us the make and model of your gate or garage and we can check this out for you.

No need to worry, the upgrade also has the option to work off Bluetooth as well as the internet so if the internet is down you can still operate the system.  You can also use your existing remotes!

You can have up to 100 guest users on the app, so you and the whole family can use the upgrade. You’ll have complete control over the users through the free app.

You can set the app up to notify you if your garage or gate is left open. This saves you from having to go back home and check if you’re unsure. You can also check the status from anywhere!

Absolutely, your existing remotes will still work if someone in the family prefers to use those, however you won’t ever need them to access your gate or garage.

Floodlight & Spotlight Security Camera FAQs

Not at all. There aren’t any subscription or ongoing fees with any of our product offerings. We believe that once you have gone through us for installation, there should be nothing more to pay.

The Wired Floodlight Cameras are wired straight into power but the camera itself operates off the home Wi-Fi Network. CCTV cameras are all data cabled back to a single recording box (NVR) and record as a local system. The benefits of the floodlight cameras are their exceptional quality, powerful floodlights and motion detection recording. Please note, the floodlight cameras do not record 24/7 like the CCTV cameras. 

For you to get the most out of your Wireless Camera system, we will need to have a decent connection to WiFi, this will be fine for 99% of homes with the internet. If you are noticing your WiFi signal isn’t the best in some locations, we can always look at boosters or extenders to improve this for you.

You do not need to have existing wiring, however it does make it much more cost-effective for us to directly swap out your existing sensor lights or outdoor lighting for the Wired Floodlight Cameras. Our qualified electricians will be able to run new wiring if this isn’t available, however this will come at an additional cost.

If your internet is down or you don’t have the app available, you can always use the lighting as you would have previously. Your switches will still operate and function as normal.

Smart Lighting can be great for home security as they are able to be operated from anywhere at any time. Setting different automations or controlling your lights while out of the house or travelling can be a great way to give the perception someone is home to any unwanted visitors.

Great question, not all lighting needs to be changed to red, blue and yellow. You can simply change the warmth or coolness or the light bulb giving it a softer feel in your home, compared to the heavily white or overly yellow aesthetics of standard lightbulbs. 

Absolutely, we can setup either an indoor or outdoor motion sensor to pair with your smart lighting. This will act as a sensor light and can even turn on internal lights if an outdoor area is accessed. Perfect for convenience and security!

A smart switch is an internet-connected electrical switch that can be controlled remotely using a smartphone app, voice assistant or a smart home hub. It can be used to turn lights or other appliances on and off or to adjust the brightness, color or temperature.

We always recommend hiring us or a qualified electrician to install and setup the smart switches for you.
