Smart Lock & Digital Door Lock FAQ's

Are there any subscription or ongoing fees?

Not at all. There aren’t any subscription or ongoing fees with any of our product offerings. We believe that once you have gone through us for installation, there should be nothing more to pay.

What if my power cuts out?

Not a worry, the smart deadbolt will still function even if the power is out. The deadbolt runs on batteries and will continue operating, even through a blackout.

What if my internet goes down?

Even if the internet is down, you can still use your smart deadbolt as normal. The only thing you won’t be able to access is the app remotely as this requires an internet connection.

Can the smart lock be installed on any door?

The Smart Deadbolt is compatible with any standard timber door, it won’t suit double doors or sliding doors. If you would like to send through a photo of your door we can happily provide a recommendation for you, it may just be a slightly different product.

How long do the batteries last?

You will get 6-12 months with plenty of notifications letting you know that the smart deadbolt is running low. The battery change is extremely simple and only requires 4 AA batteries. We will show you how to do this on installation and send a video after installation if you forget.

How many pins can I set and what if I only want them to work for a certain amount of time?

You can set up to 30 unique pins for yourself, your friends and family. You are also able to remove pins and set them on specific timers if you have special deliveries or tradespeople working on your home. Depending on the pin that is used, the application will also notify you as to who has accessed your lock.
