SOCIAL SERVICES CASE STUDY 1

After being contacted late Thursday by a Brisbane-based Social Services Organisation, Smarter Homes Australia completed an urgent security upgrade on Saturday morning.

The installation included two cameras, a smart lock, and a deadbolt. Smarter Homes Australia ensured the installation was prioritised before the client’s next court date, where the person using violence was being charged with a breach of an existing DVO. After the court date, the person using violence returned to the property and instantly left after being detected by the sensor
lights and cameras. This de-escalated the situation, and the client had the footage recorded on her phone, which she provided to the police immediately. The client said the security upgrades have allowed her and her children to remain safely in their home because they provide accountability and act as a deterrent.
